Out and About
Tara, recently travelled to Ireland to spend valuable time working alongside our Irish Sales Executive, Annie-Rose. The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for Tara to share her knowledge, experience, and industry insights. This has helped Annie-Rose build confidence when developing relationships with both existing customers and prospective new clients. Together they spent several days on the road prospecting, attending customer visits, and discussing the best approaches to creating strong, lasting partnerships that deliver real value.
Office Work
Back in the office, Tara worked closely with Annie-Rose, sharing practical guidance on internal systems, organisation, and day-to-day processes. Together, they focused on managing customer information effectively and recording opportunities and follow-up actions accurately. This hands-on support helped Annie-Rose build confidence, improve productivity, and further strengthen her customer service skills.
Work Hard, Play Hard!
Of course, it wasn’t all work! The pair made the most of their time together by enjoying some well-earned downtime, including dinner out and crazy golf, an evening of bowling, and a shopping and food trip through the lively Irish city scene. With Ireland renowned for its warm hospitality, buzzing atmosphere, and fantastic nightlife, there was plenty of fun to be had alongside the hard work. The visit was a huge success, with Annie-Rose thoroughly enjoying the company in the office and on the road. Together they formed an even stronger team, creating great memories while laying the groundwork for continued success and growth across the Irish market.

One thing that truly stands out is how closely our UK and Ireland teams work together. We support each other every step of the way, which is why our colleagues often feel more like family than co-workers. Regular visits between both teams, including our Directors, help us stay connected, strengthen relationships, and ensure everyone feels part of the growing Smartlift Group.
In next few weeks our Directors from the UK, Trevor, Amy and Matt have a trip to Ireland too.
